Job Description

The Bars Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the beverages operation of all F&B venues across the resort. This role requires creativity, innovation, and a deep understanding of beverages creation. The ideal candidate will craft sophisticated beverage experiences that align with Fairmont’ legacy of elegance and the cultural values of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.


Key Roles & Responsibilities


  • Manage daily operations of all resort beverage venues, ensuring excellence in service, presentation, and product quality.
  • Develop and maintain unique, luxury beverage menus focused on premium non-alcoholic cocktails, wellness elixirs, teas, coffees, and artisanal beverages.
  • Ensure seamless coordination with Culinary, Events, and Front Office teams to enhance guest experiences across all touchpoints.
  • Maintain hygiene, safety, and service standards in line with Fairmont and Accor policies.
  • Elevate beverage service to an art form, curating signature mocktails and sensory journeys that express the essence of Fairmont hospitality.
  • Anticipate guest preferences and ensure intuitive, personalized service.
  • Foster a culture of storytelling around ingredients, preparation, and presentation.
  • Uphold the brand’s “Emotional Luxury” philosophy, ensuring every guest experience feels bespoke and heartfelt.
  • Lead, inspire, and train a talented team of bar professionals to deliver exceptional beverage craftsmanship.
  • Implement training programs in beverages, coffee art, tea culture, and guest engagement.
  • Encourage creativity and ownership within the team while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls for the bars operation.
  • Analyze performance metrics and implement initiatives to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee inventory, sourcing, and supplier relationships
  • Develop partnerships with local and regional producers for beverages, organic juices, herbs, teas, and coffee.
  • Integrate wellness, sustainability, and local flavors into beverage offerings.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in bar or beverage management within a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and guest relations skills.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for detail and presentation.
  • Financial acumen with experience in cost control and revenue management.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic and other languages are an asset.
  • Experience in pre-opening is highly desirable.
