Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented HR Support & Workforce Coordination to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring resource visibility, driving workforce planning, supporting hiring and onboarding processes, and maintaining operational dashboards and workflows. This position is essential to aligning our HR operations with project-driven demand and ensuring smooth execution of workforce strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resource Management:

    • Monitor staff availability, leave, and backfill; maintain coverage plans.

    • Analyze workload distribution and maintain role allocation matrices.

  • Gap Analysis and Reporting:

    • Conduct department-level gap analysis based on project pipeline, schedules, and skill requirements.

    • Publish monthly FTE reports detailing current supply, required FTEs, net gaps, and requisition/hiring status.

  • Hiring and Onboarding Support:

    • Define positions and counts; prepare requisition dossiers; identify sourcing channels (internal mobility, referrals, vendors, job boards).

    • Screen CVs using structured rubrics; prepare shortlists and feedback summaries for hiring managers; coordinate interviews.

    • Coordinate onboarding activities, including systems access, induction, and training kickoff; track completion and file artifacts in ECM systems.

  • HR Operations Workflows:

    • Operate platform-first workflows (no email) for requisitions, screening, interviews, onboarding tasks, leave requests, workload/assignment changes, and travel approvals.

    • Maintain HR dashboards with drill-through capabilities to workflow records and ECM documents.

Key Outcomes

  • Clear visibility of current resources versus project-driven demand by department and timeframe.

  • Monthly FTE reports that quantify gaps and track requisitions, hiring, and onboarding progress.

  • Structured, timely hiring support to improve time-to-fill and quality of hire while protecting data privacy.

  • Operational dashboards and workflows covering training, leave/backfill, workload, assignment, and travel—aligned to the “no email” operating model.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred but not required.

  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in workforce planning, HR operations, or a similar role.

  • Proven experience in workforce planning, HR operations, and data-driven reporting.

  • Strong analytical skills to conduct gap analysis and produce actionable insights.

  • Proficiency in HR platforms and workflow tools; familiarity with ECM systems.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate hiring and onboarding activities.

  • Ability to design and maintain dashboards for operational visibility and decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in implementing “no email” operating models.

  • Familiarity with project-driven environments and resource allocation matrices.

  • Knowledge of structured CV screening rubrics and hiring best practices.
