Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our PMCM team for night shift operations. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams during night operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and monitor construction activities during the night shift to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
Conduct regular site inspections to verify progress and adherence to safety protocols.
Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve any on-site issues promptly.
Provide daily progress updates and reports to the Project Manager and PMCM team.
Ensure that all materials and workmanship meet the required quality standards.
Review and approve work completed during the night shift, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site.
Identify and mitigate potential risks or hazards during night operations.
Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team as needed.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
Address and resolve technical or operational challenges encountered during the night shift.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in construction supervision, with at least 3 years in a PMCM role. Experience in night shift operations is preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is an advantage.
Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Key Requirements:
Availability to work night shifts on a rotational or permanent basis.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision.
Familiarity with local construction codes, standards, and regulations.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
