Job Description:



Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Program Director – Industrial / Manufacturing to join our team!
In this role, you will get to lead the Industrial / Advanced Manufacturing sub-sector, providing strategic direction and overseeing the successful delivery of complex factory and production facility projects across advanced manufacturing, automotive, intelligent devices, and semiconductor industries. You will drive excellence across design, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness while shaping client relationships and growing the sector.




What You’ll Be Doing:




  • Defining and executing the overall strategy for advanced manufacturing and industrial projects within the sub-sector.



  • Providing vision, leadership, and direction to multi-disciplinary project and program teams.



  • Overseeing the full lifecycle of major projects, including factory design, construction, commissioning, and operational transition.



  • Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with Parsons’ quality, safety, and sustainability standards.



  • Implementing industry best practices for advanced manufacturing environments, including operational efficiency and technology integration.



  • Supporting business development initiatives, including bid preparation, client presentations, and pursuit leadership.



  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for sector growth.



  • Structuring, managing, and optimizing large, diverse project teams for successful delivery.



  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing internal talent to strengthen capability across the organization.



  • Acting as the senior point of contact for clients and key stakeholders, ensuring clear, consistent communication.



  • Navigating and coordinating complex stakeholder requirements across technical, contractual, and regulatory interfaces.




What Required Skills You’ll Bring:




  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.



  • Minimum 20 years of experience delivering industrial, manufacturing, or advanced production facility projects.



  • Demonstrated success in factory design, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness.



  • Proven track record delivering large-scale projects in sectors such as automotive, semiconductors, intelligent devices, or advanced manufacturing.



  • Significant experience in program management, including leadership of multi-disciplinary teams.



  • Strong commercial acumen and financial management capability.



  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.



  • Ability to lead in complex technical, contractual, and multi-stakeholder environments.




What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:




  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.



  • Experience delivering projects for global manufacturers or high-tech production facilities.
