Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Manager - Fit Out & Finishing to join our team! The Project Manager - Fit Out & Finishing is responsible for leading interior project execution from design concept to final handover. This role involves managing budgets, timelines, subcontractors, and quality standards for commercial and residential spaces. The manager ensures that spaces are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with brand requirements by leveraging expertise in finishes, joinery, and site coordination. The position demands strong leadership, technical knowledge (e.g., flooring, ceilings, electrical systems), and the ability to transform bare shells into high-quality, usable environments, particularly for luxury or fast-track projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from design concept to final handover, ensuring seamless execution.

  • Develop detailed project timelines, monitor progress, and proactively address delays or challenges.

  • Coordinate and supervise site activities, ensuring smooth collaboration among subcontractors and trades.

  • Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to ensure cost efficiency and quality.

  • Ensure exceptional quality standards for all finishes, including paint, flooring, joinery, ceilings, partitions, and more.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.

  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability while meeting deadlines.

  • Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Implement and enforce health and safety protocols across all project sites.

  • Collaborate with clients, designers, architects, and internal teams to align project goals and expectations.

  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues promptly to maintain project momentum.

  • Ensure proper integration of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems with interior finishes.

  • Prepare and present progress reports, updates, and project documentation to stakeholders.

  • Drive innovation and sustainability in materials and processes to enhance project outcomes.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in interior fit-outs, luxury finishes, or commercial projects (e.g., hospitality, offices, retail spaces).

  • Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or construction management are highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding of materials, finishes, detailing, and MEP integration.

  • Familiarity with GCC construction standards, building codes, and fast-track project environments is preferred.

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices in construction.
