To ensure the effective administration of contracts throughout all phases of the awarded Rig/Ship new build projects, including pre-award, execution, and close-out by managing contractual obligations, variations, claims, and risk; ensuring compliance with project scope and schedule; supporting project commercial optimization; and acting as a central link between project teams, clients, subcontractors, and key internal stakeholders to secure IMI’s legal and financial interests.
Ensure all contract administration activities are carried out in compliance with IMI policies, systems, and procedures.
Prepare, draft, and review contract documents including contract outlines commercial letters, and ensure clear communication of contractual obligations to the project team.
Manage project invoicing by preparing final invoice packages (draft and final) with appropriate supporting documentation and coordinate approvals with the Project Controls Manager and Project managers.
Maintain organized folders with all relevant records—consultant invoices, expenses, monthly billing as per Function protocols.
Draft and review all project correspondence related to contractual compliance, entitlements, and risk, including notifications, meeting minutes, and formal letters.
Ensure clear understanding and tracking of all contractual schedule requirements, such as milestone deadlines, progress metrics, and completion guarantees.
Develop and maintain a detailed Issues Log to track and communicate the status of all commercial or contractual issues impacting the project.
Ensure deep understanding of compensation terms to support revenue protection and profit maximization on changes, claims, and variations.
Monitor project meeting outcomes to ensure IMI commitments align strictly with contractual obligations and that all assigned actions are closed in a timely manner.
Education
•
Bachelor’s degree Qualified (or equivalent).
•
Background in engineering preferable (but not essential). Professional Qualifications (Certifications & Accreditations)
•
Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM).
•
Project Management Professional (PMP) is an advantage.
•
SAP or Oracle ERP Training – Focused on contract and procurement modules. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present well-structured business cases.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and contract review abilities.
•
Organized and efficient in managing time and multiple tasks.

Works well independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

Diplomatic, adaptable, and able to handle changing project needs with professionalism. Experience
•
At least 12 years’ experience in relevant industry performing the contract administration role.
•
Offshore or Onshore project fabrication/construction experience (Rig / Ship Building / MRO / Oil & Gas Plants). Languages
