Objective:


This position is responsible for supervising daily transport operations within the distribution center, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective delivery of goods to meet service-level targets.


Key Responsibility:


  • Supervise inbound/outbound transportation activities, coordinate routing, scheduling, and delivery execution.
  • Manage drivers, monitor vehicle assignments, ensure compliance with traffic and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, DC, and logistics teams to synchronize transport with inventory demands.
  • Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, transit times, and fuel usage; escalate and resolve operational issues.
  • Implement route optimization measures and monitor cost-saving initiatives.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections and assist in fleet maintenance planning.
  • Support vendor and carrier coordination for pickups, drop-offs, and service-level agreements.
  • Prepare transportation activity reports and present findings to Manager – Transport for process enhancements.

  • 2-4 years of experience in logistics, transport coordination, or fleet operations.
  • Strong knowledge of route planning, carrier management, and transportation regulations.
  • Proficiency in transport management systems (TMS) and data analysis tools.
  • Effective negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Valid driving license and familiarity with regional transport regulations preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
