As Oncology & Hematology Business Unit Director, you will lead and develop high-performing commercial sales and marketing teams to deliver GSK's Ahead Together objectives with focus, pace, and ambition.  




Aligned with GSK's Türkiye bold ambition & with deep market insight, you must establish the strategic and operating priorities for the current portfolio and future launches in my business unit to optimise pipeline value, deliver health impact to more appropriate patients & drive sustainable growth for the business. You need to ensure you have the right talents & capabilities to deliver our bold ambition and drive excellent commercial execution.  




You will be held accountable for influencing key internal and external stakeholders with a solid understanding of nuances in the local healthcare and regulatory environment. You need to ensure teams operate in line with GSK code and embed disciplined compliance to company policies, local regulations, and ethical standards. As an enterprise leader, you will be a role model living the GSK culture and enabling an environment for outstanding people to thrive in GSK. 





Key Responsibilities:



Drive and Manage the Business



  • Create and execute long-term strategy for in-country units to achieve expected growth.
  • Develop and achieve forecast goals and profit targets & effectively manage business unit's Profit and Loss. 
  • Generate up-to-date country-level insights to inform local business strategies & execution.
  • Provide in-country support for new asset launches (including market shaping, marketing mix, andchannel strategy) and ensure a successful launch.
  • Manage external stakeholders (e.g., customers, policymakers, payers, providers) & effectively communicate customer value propositions.

  • Motivate & engage teams on our company purpose.  
  • Ensure focus, clarity & alignment on company goals and strategies  
  • Attract, retain & develop diverse talents, and build organisational capability for the future.
  • Drive and embed strong talent & performance management processes.
  • Build best-in-class commercial teams with high scientific knowledge & strong omnichannel capabilities.

Basic Qualifications



We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline 
  • Hematology and/or Oncology leadership experience either as BUM / BU Head level in the last 3-5 years  
  • Previous product launch experience in Specialty medicines, Oncology, Hematology or Immunology  
  • Experience working in a large pharmaceutical multinational  
  • Experience in regional or Local Operating Company (LOC) Commercial roles in both sales and marketing with at least 5-7 years in a people leadership position  
  • Experience in portfolio management of brands across different therapy areas and demonstrating agility to learn new disease and product knowledge
  • Strong performance mindset and track record to work through difficulties and deliver results
