AC Technician
Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and related equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in HVAC systems to ensure proper operation.
Perform routine preventive maintenance to avoid system breakdowns.
Replace or repair defective parts such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.
Test electrical circuits and components for safety and efficiency.
Clean and inspect air filters, coils, and other components to maintain air quality.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
Respond promptly to emergency repair requests.
Coordinate with other technicians and departments to complete tasks efficiently.
Your experience and skills include:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in HVAC preferred
Relevant HVAC or refrigeration certification/license (e.g., EPA Section 608 certification)
Proven experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical components related to HVAC systems
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in HVAC work
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Physical ability to handle equipment and work in various conditions
Strong communication and customer service skills
