Job description

Acts as a Clinical Informatics expert, serving as a key liaison among stakeholders, providers, vendors. This role focuses on driving optimal clinical adoption and effective utilisation of health information systems to improve workflows, enhance patient care, and boost operational efficiency. Responsibilities include identifying and addressing data quality gaps in the HIE, conduct workflow reviews, gap analyses, requirements analysis, and code mapping. The role also involves optimising software or implementing workarounds, redesigning workflows, and defining EMR data capture.
 
  • Serve as a liaison among stakeholders, providers, vendors, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Promote clinical adoption and optimal utilisation of health information systems to improve workflows, patient care, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues within the HIE.
  • Conduct workflow and business process reviews, perform gap analyses, and define requirements for improved functionality.
  • Collaborate on code mapping and requirements analysis to align systems with clinical and operational needs.
  • Enhance software solutions or implement workarounds, including workflow redesign and data capture modifications.
  • Assess training needs and deliver targeted training to support workflow and EMR updates.
  • Facilitate HIE User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and oversee successful participant onboarding during go-live activities.
  • Foster HIE adoption through ongoing support, awareness sessions, and engagement with stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with assigned participants and stakeholders, leveraging established communication processes.
  • Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders on their use of the Provider Portal.
  • Identify and document barriers to adoption, proposing strategies to enhance uptake at low-adoption sites.
  • Deliver awareness and Q&A sessions in collaboration with the Provider engagement and Marketing teams, highlighting success stories for marketing and awareness campaigns.
  • Validate clinical data during ingestion and integration into the HIE.

Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in medicine, Nursing or other healthcare discipline
  • 10+ years relevant experience in healthcare, healthcare IT and clinical informatics.
  • Ideally be/has been a practicing clinician
  • Ideally has Middle East/Greenfield project/clinical experience
