Responsibilities
In this role, you'll get to:

• Own and execute high-impact, special strategic projects addressing the companyâs most critical business challengesâdeveloping actionable insights through deep analysis and research, and delivering executive-level recommendations that shape direction and drive performance.

  
  
  

• Continuously monitor business performance in a multi-product environment and diagnose root causes of deviationâwhether internal execution issues or external threats stemming from competitive dynamics.

  
  
  

• Own and lead a central competitive intelligence rhythmâconducting ongoing market assessments and deep competitive analyses to uncover trends, benchmarks, and opportunities that directly inform product, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.

  
  
  

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, marketing, finance, and data science to ensure strategy, execution, and insights are tightly integrated and reflect a real-time understanding of both our internal operations and the external market landscape.

  
  
  

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

• 8+ years experience in high growth Software / tech industry in biz ops and/or consulting, investment banking roles

  
  
  

• A deep understanding of Enterprise Software businesses and their business models - both Sales-driven and Product-Led-Growth

  
  
  

• Strong analytical skills - ability to analyze data, derive key insights and diagnose business issues

  
  
  

• Ability to think strategically, but also have exceptional attention to detail to drive program management and execution of strategy

  
  
  

• Ability to think big picture with a cross-portfolio perspective while connecting the dots in a multi-product environment

  
  
  

• Strong executive presence - excellent verbal & written communications skills

  
  
  

• A sense of ownership and a desire to run independently

  
  
  

• Strong proficiency with Excel and business modeling

  
  
  

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $180,000 - $235,000

Zone B: $162,000 - $211,500

Zone C: $149,400 - $195,050

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
