The Operations Specialist in the Supply Chain department plays a key role in supporting end-to-end supply chain processes including procurement, logistics, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
This role ensures timely, cost-effective, and efficient flow of goods and information across the supply chain, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Order Management & Fulfillment o Coordinate sales and purchase orders across departments.
o Track shipments and ensure timely delivery to customers or internal departments.
o Resolve order discrepancies and delivery delays proactively.
Inventory & Logistics o Monitor inventory levels, ensure optimal stock without overstocking.
o Coordinate with warehouse teams for inbound/outbound shipments.
o Assist in cycle counting and stocktaking processes.
Supplier & Vendor Coordination o Liaise with suppliers for order confirmations, shipping documentation, and ETAs.
o Evaluate supplier performance and suggest improvements.
Data & Reporting o Maintain accurate records in ERP systems (e.
g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo).
o Generate weekly/monthly reports for supply chain KPIs.
o Analyze trends in delays, stock-outs, or process inefficiencies.
Process Improvement o Participate in projects to streamline supply chain operations.
o Support digitization, automation, and agile practices within the department.
Compliance & Documentation o Ensure all supply chain activities comply with company policies and regulations.
o Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in supply chain or operations preferred.
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and tools.
Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems, and supply chain software.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
